Our Team:
Rod Johnston, MBA, CMA
Rod’s background in accounting, finance, sales, and real estate makes him one of the most well-rounded practice transition consultants in America. Rod has an MBA from Seattle University and is a Certified Management Accountant. He is also an Accredited Business Appraiser by the Institute of Business Appraisers and the President of the National Association of Practice Brokers. Rod’s experience and background include stints as a financial planner, as Assistant Treasurer and Director of Accounting for AT&T Wireless, and as a Commercial Broker for Keller-Williams and Omni Healthcare Real Estate. Rod started Omni in 2004 with two things in mind; provide a Nordstrom like service to help doctors with their transition, and to be an expert resource to medical professionals in the fields we work in. He has developed systems and processes in the brokerage industry that are mimicked and copied throughout the nation. He and his company have transitioned hundreds of practices with great success while maintaining a “win-win” relationship between his clients. Rod is a sought-after practice broker and speaker throughout the west coast. |
Frank Sciabica, DDS
Dr. Frank Sciabica serves as a Transition Consultant at Omni Practice Group. He has a DDS from Marquette University School of Dentistry and has been looking after the oral health of his patients and creating healthy, beautiful smiles for more than 25 years. He has personally bought and sold a number of practices and professionally has helped to transition dozens of practices since being at Omni Practice Group. He brings a wealth of experience with practice transitions to help doctors through the process of selling their practice and to find a buyer who is a good fit for the seller. Frank is a licensed commercial broker in Washington and California. |
Roy Steinberg, DC DABCO
During the past 30 years in his chiropractic profession, one of the most satisfying aspects was the development and operation of a large, patient-centered chiropractic practice in Bellevue, Washington. Roy’s practice management approach uses universal business and customer service principles as applied to the business of chiropractic in today’s marketplace. The management system is integrated, ethical, and simple to use. Roy has been providing personalized chiropractic consultant management services to Chiropractors since 2001. He also owns and operates the Massage Center of Bellevue since 2002, employing 12 full time massage therapists. This is primarily a treatment based facility, and he uses the systems and information gained in one arena to benefit the other. Roy's postdoctoral education includes a 2 year, 800 hour course in Organizational development and change generation conducted through Pacific Integral. Roy realized fairly early on that professional success in chiropractic involved a lot more than what we learned at Chiropractic College. Chiropractors not only need to be excellent clinicians, we also need a fairly large skill set outside the clinical realm. |
Jim Vander Mey, CPA, ABI
Jim has 20 years’ experience as CFO/GM of multi-million dollar Corporations, and started, grew, and transitioned numerous companies. Certified, Licensed and Accredited, this combination of experience and education gives a wide range of knowledge for Jim to draw upon, providing a perspective and level of service not easily found. Jim is a Certified Public Accountant, a licensed commercial broker in Washington, Oregon, Alaska, and Idaho, an Accredited Business Intermediary, and has membership in: the American Business Brokers Association, the AICPA Valuation Services Section, and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants. |
Steve Kikikis
As a Commercial Real Estate Broker, Steve specializes in helping medical professionals and has been licensed since 2006. Steve works with doctors every day that are looking to buy a building or lease a space for their new startup, relocate an existing, or opening an additional practice. This gives him a unique opportunity to understand and negotiate the terms that will best meet medical professionals’ goals – now and in the future. Steve also represents landlords and building owners to help secure tenants and/or sell their properties with an emphasis on maximum market exposure. His background and experience allow him to provide the highest degree of service possible to our clients. |
